What to tell GoBright first
Describe the carpeted rooms, stairs, approximate size, fibre type if known, access and the current condition. Identify stains, odours, pet issues, previous treatments or water damage so the most suitable service can be discussed.
Furniture and floor preparation
Remove small objects, toys, fragile items and loose cables from the carpet. Confirm in advance which furniture is expected to move. Heavy, delicate or connected furniture is not automatically moved, and some items may need to remain in place for safety.
Stains and expectations
Some spots respond to cleaning while permanent staining, dye loss, fibre damage, wear or contamination may remain. No responsible quote should promise that every stain or odour will be removed without assessing the cause and carpet condition.
Drying and access after cleaning
Drying time varies with fibre, weather, airflow, humidity and how soiled the carpet was. Plan ventilation where safe and keep people and pets off damp carpet as advised. Avoid replacing metal, timber or coloured items until the carpet is suitably dry.
A useful day-of-service checklist
- Provide parking and access information for the equipment
- Show the cleaner every included room and priority spot
- Keep pets safely away from the work area
- Confirm how keys or access will be handled if you leave
- Ask about realistic drying guidance before the service is completed
